Some basic details to explain why we feel these are the most amazing sports glasses available today
The Frame is the only sports sunglasses Manufactured in the UK
Made from premium polyamide, making them flexible and robust
Incredibly light weight at only 17.5 grams, so light you will forget you are wearing them
Zeiss eco friendly Nylon Lenses, probably the best lenses in the world, something not easy to show in a photograph, but when you look through these lenses it is as if there is nothing in front of your eyes
The lens wraps around your eyes to give you the best all-round protection, not just from the sun but wind and rain and any debris that may try to attack your eyes
Excellent airflow to prevent steaming up of the lenses
Available in a prescription
Stylish for those who do not like a full wrap lens, but still want the benefit of a rimless design
The standard fit will suit most head sizes, but should you need a tighter fit we can supply tighter fitting temples (Arms) also options for Asian fit if required too just contact us direct
Some Unique feature during development
While developing these we had a few stages which albeit not obvious make these frames particularly special.
Our first sticking point was the nose pads, we looked at many options then we decided to stick with our Sol Invictus version which we know worked and is adjustable for the perfect fit.
The hinge has been a struggle to say the least, but we came down to either with or without a screw. Both work fine but to move forward we developed a screw less version, to ensure less damage as if the frame came under preasure or you sat on them etc the arm would just pop out to protect the lens, which will be particularly important for the prescription version.
Probably the stand out feature is the fact they are a rimless frame but with two lenses, this gives two major features one being asthetic making them look rather cool and secondly making them the only prescription rimless sports sunglasses on the market
And most importantly they are named in memory of my daughter Africa, who died of Brain Cancer 2 years ago at the age of 24 so we will be giving a percentage to MENCAP in her memory You can read more about her here when I cycled to Paris in her memory
