We Have been in the sunglasses business for over 10 years, from knowing nothing to a unique understanding of sunglasses, specifically lenses.
What we do know is when you find the perfect sunglasses, you become very attached to them certainly this can be said for our sports range and although our frames will survive for many years and certainly our originals can still be seen 10 years later, but lenses do eventually scratch.
Because we do things a little differently compared to our competitors, in that as a sports brand we want to use the best quality lenses, because performance is important to our Athletes.
Also because we cut our lenses specifically for our frames we can offer the same service to any sunglasses, well apart from full wraps, which is why we can do prescriptions too.
So if you prefer to deal with a UK company rather than imported lenses from China and only want the best lenses in your Rayban’s
We have a range of lenses, which will be updated as and when new styles come in. In addition we are able to cut lenses to fit most other brands, not full wraps yet but watch this space.
Just a few notes, if they are Zeiss lenses that is indicated on the choice.
We are not a huge fan on polarised lenses for sport as they can inhibit vision in icy or wet conditions.
The Blue Mirror with an amber tint are ideal for trail running, golf and walking as they give great contrast with the greens

A Little more about our Replacement Lenses
About 5 years ago we moved away from accepting lenses which came with our frames and decided to have more control over which lenses we used, which enabled us to adjust the lens shape and choose the best combinations for our clients. While doing so I used to pick some of the lenses to upgrade my fashion frames at the same time.
Also by working with Zeiss we were able to select the ideal lens for certain conditions. Although not so important here, but the amber tint is great for walking in the trails or playing golf and the Grey tint is the most natural for all conditions, but by adding the Mirror finish you get some real bling plus reducing glare, the negatives associated with polarized lenses .
Why Zeiss Lenses?
The main reason is the quality of their lenses, in fact if there combinations we request are out above grade 3 they will not manufacture them, as they are illegal when driving.
Secondly we have opted for their nylon lenses, which have higher index of clarity giving you the feeling their s nothing in front of your eyes
Thirdly the process for nylon is more eco friendly compared to Polycarbonate lenses.
Finally they are produced in Italy.
